I have experience and expertise in dealing with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Bereavement (accredited Cruse bereavement counsellor and supervisor since 1986)
  • Depression
  • Stress / Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Anxiety
  • Low self-esteem
  • Identity development
  • Health related issues
  • Personal potential
  • Relationships
  • Work-related issues
  • Training therapy
  • Clinical supervision

I offer an initial consultation with no obligation. This appointment lasts for one hour and will provide an opportunity to see if therapy would be beneficial to you and whether we feel we can work together. If you decide to go ahead my sessions are 50 minutes long and can be once or twice weekly. They are at a regular time and day in order to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental therapeutic space in which to explore what is troubling you.

Clinical supervision may be weekly or fortnightly depending on the client load of the supervisee and the requirements of the BACP ethical standards for supervision. I also help supervisees with their application for BACP accreditation.

I work to the BACP ethical standards for practice. I undertake regular supervision and ongoing professional development and am fully insured.
