I am an Oxford based UKRC and BACP registered and accredited psychoanalytical psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. I am also a training therapist and clinical supervisor for several organisations (Oxford University, Guild of Psychotherapists, Metanoia Institute London and Aylesbury College).
I started working as a counsellor with Cruse Bereavement Counselling in the mid 1980’s alongside a person-centred training at the Metanoia Institute. I subsequently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Oxford University, and an M.A. in Clinical Psychoanalysis at The Guild of Psychotherapists in London.
I have over thirty years of clinical experience working in private practice in a quiet room from my home in North Oxford, including working for charitable organisations, a work-related counselling service, and several Oxford Colleges. I receive regular referrals from a number of GP practices.
My practice is founded in the belief that the relationship between the counsellor and client is at the heart of the healing process.
I provide a safe, supportive, confidential environment. I offer both time-limited and open-ended face-to-face psychotherapy and clinical supervision of counsellors and psychotherapists.
My consulting room is on the ground floor with wheelchair access and there is free car parking.
